About the Camp and Directions
Four Springs Retreat is set in the mountains near Middletown on 280 acres. Don't be in a rush to get there. Enjoy the drive and don't believe Google Maps time to get there. It told me it would take 1 hr & 35 mins. to travel the 69 miles from Vacaville and it was more like 2 hours both ways. Hwy 29 goes right through the wine country so traffic can slow to a crawl, however, it depends where you're coming from if you have to go that way. Coming from San Francisco or Marin County you'd just take Hwy 101 so that would probably be faster. Once you get out of Calistoga, there is about an 8 mile drive up a twisty grade and then another 8 down the other side. There is no avoiding this!
